A wood-burning insert “suited to small spaces while offering a generous view of the fire.”
“The combustion chamber widens toward the front to reach the streamlined door frame” — a shape “unique to Stûv 6-in” (Pat. D898,173) that makes the fire the focus.
“It is perfect for masonry hearths and for wood-fire enthusiasts” — the insert slides into the fireplace you already have. Three sizes, all Black.
The maker’s own badge: “Available in Canada only.” UL · ULC · EPA · CSA B415.1-22 certified, 68% EPA efficiency across all three sizes.

Quick answers
Yes — wood needs one, and you already have it. The 6-in goes into an existing masonry fireplace with a stainless liner sized per Stûv’s installation instructions. We sweep it, line it and install it — WETT-certified.
Three sizes (66/50, 76/55, 76/60) cover most masonry openings. Send us a photo and three measurements — we’ll fit-check it against the maker’s install charts before you spend a dollar.
Ash out, glass wiped, and an annual sweep — which is our trade. Chase N’ Chimneys is a chimney company first: the crew that installs your 6-in is the crew that sweeps it every fall.
What it costs
Every wall is different — framing, venting, gas line — so your price is real, not a guess.
Two minutes online. Photos help; the booking machine takes them.
Dan prices your exact install and walks you through every line of it.
Nick’s crew frames it to the maker’s spec, runs the venting, and leaves the room clean.
Or come see it in our Coldwater showroom — the espresso will be on.
