“The s16-in integrates into your existing masonry hearth, restoring its full function ... without major renovation work.”
“In a masonry hearth, the width of the opening is part of the experience. The s16-in preserves it, offering a fire view that is nearly as generous as the original.”
“Its clean lines fade into the background... With no visible handle, the door is opened using a removable key. Convection is fully integrated. No visible grilles interrupt the design.”
Finishing frames in StûvGrey for every size: Thin-edge (“frameless effect”), Picture-type 2″, Picture-type 4″ — the retrofit dressed exactly to your masonry.

These are the numbers we install to — every number above is Stûv’s own published figure, nothing rounded by us, nothing guessed. Ask us for the maker’s data sheet (Stûv 16-in) and EPA reports — at the showroom. Or ask us anything at the showroom.

Quick answers
You have one — that’s the point. The 16-in slides into your existing masonry fireplace and vents through a 6″ or 7″ stainless liner per the maker’s install instructions. We sweep, line and install it WETT-certified.
Three widths (22-7/8″ to 30-3/4″) cover most masonry openings, and the three StûvGrey frames trim the reveal — thin-edge for a frameless look, 2″ or 4″ picture frames to cover more brick. Send us three measurements; we fit-check before any order.
Ash out, glass wiped via the removable key, one annual sweep — our trade, same crew that installs it.
What it costs
Every wall is different — framing, venting, gas line — so your price is real, not a guess.
Two minutes online. Photos help; the booking machine takes them.
Dan prices your exact install and walks you through every line of it.
Nick’s crew frames it to the maker’s spec, runs the venting, and leaves the room clean.
Or come see it in our Coldwater showroom — the espresso will be on.
