Stûv · Wood Stoves
“Stûv 16 showcase the spectacle of flames through their refined design” — here as the pure cube: no base, no legs, flush on a bench, a plinth or the floor.
16-cube sits flush. 16-H carries its own firewood in an open base (15-3/4″ tall). 16-V stands on legs (11-9/16″). Same engine, three sizes each: 58, 68, 78.
“Handles are not visible on the Stûv 16. A removable key serves as a tool to open the hinged door.” Perfectly straight lines, nothing else.
SBR automatic control: “no air damper to manipulate — all you need to do is light the logs and enjoy the spectacular fire.”

The maker’s numbers
These are the numbers we install to — every number above is Stûv’s own published figure, nothing rounded by us, nothing guessed. Ask us for the maker’s data sheets (16-cube / 16-H / 16-V) and EPA reports — at the showroom. Or ask us anything at the showroom.

Quick answers
Yes — every Stûv 16 vents through a 6″ or 7″ chimney with a 4″ outside-air connection. We run new chimney or reline old, WETT-certified, and sweep it every year after.
Same fire, three stances: the cube sits lowest and flush, the H adds an open firewood bay under the glass, the V lifts the fire on legs. Stand in front of all three in Coldwater and the answer picks itself.
Ash out, glass wiped with the key-opened door, one annual sweep — our trade. The removable key means nothing on the face to polish but steel.
What it costs
Every wall is different — framing, venting, gas line — so your price is real, not a guess.
Two minutes online. Photos help; the booking machine takes them.
Dan prices your exact install and walks you through every line of it.
Nick’s crew frames it to the maker’s spec, runs the venting, and leaves the room clean.
Or come see it in our Coldwater showroom — the espresso will be on.
