Really. The maker’s manual says it plainly: it “is not for use with venting.” It’s an outdoor build — no flue, no core drill, no ceiling opened.
It wants 45″ of rough width and 21¼″ of depth, with a 12″ non-combustible zone above the opening and 4″ each side. Send us a photo of your patio wall and we’ll confirm the fit before you spend a dollar.
No wood to haul, no ash to sweep. Like any gas fireplace it wants an annual service — that’s our trade, and the crew that installs it does it.
