“Fire-Under-Log Technology” — the flames rise from beneath the logs, the way real wood burns.
“Fire-Under-Log Technology” — three burners feed flame up through the split logs, so the fire looks lit, not staged.
“Ember Bed Lighting” across the full 41-inch width — the coals keep the show after the flames settle.
A “Modern Surround Accent,” the “Cool Surface system,” and a “Run-Quiet Fan System” — classic fire, current engineering.

Quick answers
No. The RZ41 is direct vent — a 5″ exhaust and 8″ intake run out a wall or up through the roof. No masonry, no liner, no sweeping.
The burners sit UNDER the log set — “Fire-Under-Log Technology” — so flame rises between the splits the way a real fire burns, over a lit ember bed.
No wood to haul, no ash to sweep. Like any gas fireplace it wants an annual service — that’s our trade, and the crew that installs it does it.
What it costs
Every wall is different — framing, venting, gas line — so your price is real, not a guess.
Two minutes online. Photos help; the booking machine takes them.
Dan prices your exact install and walks you through every line of it.
Nick’s crew frames it to the maker’s spec, runs the venting, and leaves the room clean.
Or come see it in our Coldwater showroom — the espresso will be on.
